East Mountain Disposal provides a recycling cart ( 95 gallon ) emptied one time per month. We pick up all mixed paper, cardboard, plastics, tin cans and aluminum cans. The recycling cart will be picked up on your last service day of each month.

Second cart is $9.00 per quarter additionally.

East Mountain Disposal provides commercial dumpsters in three sizes. The size and price of the dumpster's are shown below:

4 yard capacity horse manure is $318.75 per quarter.

No contract is required for commercial dumpsters.

East Mountain Disposal provides commercial roll off containers. These roll off containers are used for construction debris, yard cleanup, trash, tree branches, etc. Price includes delivery, pickup and all land fill fees up to 4000 lbs. Prices shown beginning 5/1/08.
The size and price of the container is shown below:
15 yard capacity is $260.00 for 15 days (click here for picture).
Maximum weight is 4000 lbs.
Additional weight will be charged at the landfill rate of $46.00 per ton.
There is a $20.00 charge per day after 15 days and before 30 days.
After 30 days the charges start over with a new $260.00 charge for 15 days.
No contract is required for roll off containers.
East Mountain Disposal picks up your trash once a week. Service is available in the surrounding areas of these communities: Tijeras, Cedar Crest, Sandia Park, Edgewood and Cedar Grove. East Mountain Disposal has a regular pickup schedule for all holidays except: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Please contact our office for details.

When you set up service, you will be informed of your trash pickup day of the week and how you will be billed. After you have selected the trash cart size, we will deliver it before your first trash pickup day.
Many of the following rules are dictated by state or county laws regulating the materials that cannot be deposited in a sanitary land fill.
We cannot pick up dead animals.
We cannot pick up toxic chemicals, ie insecticides, paint or motor oil.
We cannot pick up flammable liquids.
We also can not pick up tires or ashes.
Bills are due 30 days from the billing date. Overdue bills are subject to late charges and collections are handled by A & S Collections.
East Mountain Disposal is owned and operated by Bart and Rayne McCrite. With 25 years of experience in the trash collection business, Bart and Rayne have developed an efficient and reliable operation. Bart prefers a hands-on approach to the business and is a working supervisor during the trash pick up operation in the field. Rayne handles the sales, marketing and business side of the company.
